Acceptable Use Policy

This policy applies to codexacoin.com, the staking gateway API, the custodial staking pool, and any account you create with us. It doesn't apply to the CodexaCoin network or protocol itself, which is open, permissionless, public infrastructure that nobody — including us — controls who runs a node on or who transacts on.

1. Prohibited uses

You may not use the Services (accounts, the staking gateway, or the custodial pool) to:

Engage in money laundering, terrorist financing, or any other financially-motivated crime.
Commit or facilitate fraud, including impersonating another person or entity, or providing knowingly false information at signup.
Violate any applicable law or regulation, including sanctions laws described in the AML/KYC Policy.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another user's account or funds, or to any part of our infrastructure you're not authorized to access.
Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the staking gateway, the custodial pool, or codexacoin.com — including via excessive automated requests, attempts to bypass rate limiting, or denial-of-service activity.
Reverse engineer, scrape, or abuse the gateway API in a way not reasonably consistent with normal wallet use (note: the source code is already public — if you want to build on the API, read the source and build a proper integration rather than scraping around it).
Use the Services to transmit malware or attack other users or systems.
Create multiple accounts to abuse the referral program or evade a suspension or termination.

2. What's explicitly fine

To be clear about what this policy is not trying to restrict: running your own full node, building your own wallet or tooling against the open-source code, holding CAC in self-custody, staking from your own node, and using the block explorer for research are all completely normal, encouraged uses of open, permissionless software — none of that requires an account or is covered by the restrictions above.

3. Enforcement

Violating this policy may result in suspension or termination of your account and, for the custodial pool specifically, a hold on withdrawals while we investigate. It does not and cannot affect funds you hold in your own self-custody wallet, which we have no access to. We may also report illegal activity to relevant authorities where appropriate.

4. Reporting abuse or security issues

If you believe someone is violating this policy, or if you've found a security vulnerability in any CodexaCoin software or infrastructure, email support@codexacoin.com. For security issues specifically, please report privately before any public disclosure so we have a chance to fix it — this is genuinely early-stage software, and responsible disclosure helps everyone using it.
